Healthcare AI keynote speaker

I'm Jan Beger, Global Head of AI Advocacy at GE HealthCare and Executive Director of HelloAI. I give keynotes, panels, and workshops on AI in healthcare. Most speakers on this topic talk to the people building the technology. I talk to the people who have to deploy it: clinicians, radiologists, and the executives who answer for the results.

Every day I summarize a healthcare AI research paper for 89,000 people on LinkedIn, and once a month I write the Second Opinion newsletter for 44,000 health system leaders. That work keeps me current on what is actually landing in hospitals versus what is being oversold. A talk from me is not a tour of the latest models. It is an honest account of what works at the bedside, what fails, and what a room full of clinicians or executives should do on Monday.

On stage next

Recent talks and panels

Recent stages include a keynote, Human. Machine. Care., at Adopt AI in the Grand Palais (Paris, 2025), the panel The Clinical AI Shift: How Hospitals Are Moving from Pilots to Practice at the same event, and AI in Diagnostics, Treatments & Management of Patients on a panel at the AI Action Summit at HEC Paris. I speak in English and German. My work has been featured by TEDx, HIMSS, HLTH, the European Journal of Radiology, AuntMinnie, Springer, and KPMG.

I also take podcast and interview requests. Recent conversations include Why Doctors Are Choosing AI Chatbots (Tech Anatomy) and Bridging the AI Gap in Healthcare (The Big Unlock).

Formats

Audiences are usually clinical (radiologists, physicians, nursing leadership) or executive (health system and medtech leadership). Talks work in person and online, and I tailor the depth to the room. A board of directors needs a different talk than a room of radiology residents, and I prepare accordingly.
